Times Newer Roman is a serif font. It looks almost identical to Times New Roman. It also adds extra length to your text. It’s based on the open‑source Nimbus Roman No.9 L. Designers widened letters and spaces. They did not change vertical heights. All lowercase letters sit about 5% wider at the same point size. Punctuation marks are 15% larger with added space around them. Use Times Newer Roman to meet page requirements while keeping the classic Times look.
